I design green corners that are safe, playful, and built for your family to enjoy together. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is what it's all about for me. Seeing a child connect with nature right in her own home is the best feeling. The artificial grass provides a soft, safe surface for playing, and the surrounding plants create a mini garden for the whole family to enjoy together. It is about making a space that grows with your family.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/2d741275-a0cc-4959-aca4-1f2f08ee9f5d) ## About Creating Living Spaces for Families For families with little ones, I prioritize safety above all else. When I design a space for a toddler, I use soft, non-abrasive materials like quality artificial turf and ensure every planter is stable and non-toxic. It is about creating a worry-free zone where your child can explore the soil and greenery while you relax nearby. I believe that your home is the best classroom for your children. My design process for family spaces starts with understanding how your kids play. If you have an unused balcony in Chennai, we can turn it into a mini jungle where they can get their hands dirty, spot butterflies, and build a relationship with nature. ### My Approach to Family Safety * **Safe Surfaces:** I often recommend high-quality, pet-and-child-friendly artificial turf. It provides a soft, cushioned landing for play and is easy to clean. * **Stable Planters:** I avoid lightweight or top-heavy pots. Instead, I use weighted, durable containers that won't tip over during energetic play sessions. * **Non-Toxic Plants:** I carefully curate the plant list. I avoid anything with thorns, sharp leaves, or berries that might be tempting for a curious toddler to put in their mouth. ### Flexible Design for Growing Families I know that family needs change quickly. My designs are not static. I choose modular arrangements that can be moved or expanded as your children grow. Whether it is a small corner for an afternoon read or a full balcony makeover for weekend family gatherings, I keep it functional. We do not just put plants in a pot; we look at the lighting, the airflow, and how your family naturally uses the space. My goal is to create a spot that feels like a natural extension of your living room, where you can host friends or just sit back while the kids play safely. If you have a budget in mind, tell me. We can start small and add more greenery as you get comfortable with the maintenance. Let us make your home a little greener today. ## About Rosemary Habitat I still remember the thrill of chasing dragonflies as a kid, and I want that for your children too.
